FLAME RETARDANT ANTISTATIC FIBCs (Bulk Bags)
For proper “Electrostatically Safe Handling”, follow these instructions.
- Ground all conductive elements in the plant during transfer.
- Ground FIBC by clipping the grounding cable onto the black colour grounding tape of the FIBC. A jumper lead can be used safely to clip the tag to the grounding point.
- Ground all personnel by means of antistatic shoes and conductive flooring.

Ground the bag using either of the grounding tapes on the bag. (Figures 1 & 2)
FIBC Type C must be correctly grounded as shown above in order to prevent spark discharges that might ignite a flammable or explosive atmosphere; it is essential that FIBC Type C are always securely grounded. Our grounding label is attached to the FIBC near the lifting loops in black colour indicating the position of the grounding point(s) and clearly stating the requirement for grounding
